3. Don’t wait for spontaneity.

It’s ok to let go of the idea of spontaneity.  Sometimes you just have to schedule it.

I get that most of us crave spontaneity in our sex life.  And there is nothing wrong with that.

I think all marriages could benefit from injecting some spontaneity into it.

The problem is, we will often wait around for the spontaneous moment to arrive, and it never does.  Life gets in the way of spontaneity.

If finding moments of spontaneity is evading you, then I recommend scheduling in time for intimacy.

My husband and I have a standing date on the weekends.  So, even if we don’t get around to intimacy during the week, we always make time for it on the weekends.

Find a day that works and schedule it in.

The next step is essential for me.
