This weekend my husband and I were shopping at Hobby Lobby. We were bickering about something. I can’t even recall what it was at the moment.
But, I was super irritated and walked away from him in frustration.
When I found him a few minutes later he walked up to me silently, with a silly grin on his face holding this sign in front of him.
The look on his face with this sign in his hands melted my heart.
Frustration was gone immediately.
Sometimes you just have to let things go, right? This was one of those moments.
How could I not? 🙂
I, of course, had to buy the sign immediately. It was such a simple thing but had such power in its simplicity.
I couldn’t leave that sign behind.
It now hangs in our bedroom and makes me smile everyday.

Those types of moments are the moments that will keep your marriage happy and healthy. There really isn’t anything that big that should keep you two away from each other too long. (Other than cheating).
Now I don’t care how many cute and funny signs he come to you with, if he cheats he can kick rocks!
I love a man who finds his way back to you even after an argument. That shows confidence and it also shows that he is comfortable with you. He knows that you will always receive him regardless,which is an important aspect in any healthy marriage.
Ha! That’s awesome. 🙂 I love being able to diffuse a situation. I can with my husband, but he can’t with me. I’m a bit too stubborn for that. I need time to let it go on my own if I am really mad.
