“Tell me about your day.”
Show that you care about what is happening to them by checking in and asking about their day. Having your spouse show interest in your life is vital to the balance of a relationship.
“You look incredibly sexy!”
Compliment, compliment, compliment! Help your spouse feel attractive and noticed by giving a sincere compliment.
“Let’s look at our calendar right now and schedule a date night.”
If you want your spouse to know they are number one, then schedule some time to be alone with them. Nothing says “you matter to me” like creating one on one time for each other.
Don’t forget to say these next important words too!
This is brilliant. I overlook these things every day but I will make more of an effort to say these to my husband every day.
Glad to hear it. Effort means everything 🙂
I love these ideas! It’s always important to spend time together and make it a priority.
So glad you like the ideas!
Great advice. I already make a point to say many of these things to my husband… But the reminder is always nice! 🙂
It’s awesome that you make a point to do this regularly! Good for you!
Great post Tammy! I admit that my day gets filled with tasks and my mind is no longer only on my husband’s feelings. It’s great to take frequent moments to remember that he needs me as much as the kids do.
Thank you so much! I think we all fall into that sometimes. As long as we know how to get back on track. That is what matters.
Great post…in this journey of marriage, our spouse and family should always be our top priority. We should also learn how to communicate emotionally with our spouse by appreciating them and making them understand how much we love them.
Great advice. Thank you for sharing.
