I’m sorry for the scarceness of posts lately.
When the holidays roll around I always try to take time off so that I can focus on family and the chaos that the holidays brings.
Then my dad went into the hospital on December 30th and, to my devastation, passed away on January 5th. He died while my sister and I held his hands.
We thought we had more time with him. His passing came as a shock.
I have never experienced such heartache.
I shared this information on Married and Naked’s Facebook page and was inundated with condolences (for which I am incredibly grateful) and so many stories of loss. I am now part of a club I never wished to join. I know too many of you are as well.
For that I am sorry for all of us.
Tammy
P.S. All the great articles, quotes and date night ideas that you have come to trust from Married and Naked articles will resume soon though. I promise you that.
P.S.S.
In fact I have a big announcement that I am hoping to make next week. So stay tuned!
So sorry to hear this Tammy. 🙁 I hate that for you and your family.
Thank you so much!
I am so sorry Tammy. This isn’t a fun club. Lost my daddy my best friend 2 years ago. I pray you find peace and joy again someday. I’m getting to that place.

I’m sorry for your loss as well. I appreciate the prayers. I feel I need them.
Remember Cockrell family, your Dad/husband will always be in your heart. You can continue to love him and talk to him whenever you want to. I lost my Dad in 1983. While I sorely miss him, I talk to him every day. Sending prayers and strength to all of you.
Thank you so much!
