Making this journal available to all married couples has been a goal of mine for the last several years. It started back a few years ago when my husband and I were struggling in our marriage. At the time, I was sick of feeling unappreciated and so was my husband. I realized that something needed to change.
After getting some inspiration from seeing Darren Hardy, publisher of Success Magazine, speak about appreciation at an event that husband and I attended for our business, ( I can tell you more about that story later) I asked my husband if he would be willing to keep an appreciation journal with me.
I suggested that every day, at the end of the day, we write a little note of appreciation to each other. He agreed to give it a try and so began my marriage’s journey to success as well as my intense connection to this journal.
What we discovered was that by taking a moment every day to show appreciation, we helped redefine the soul of our marriage. It changed how we communicated and taught us the power of gratitude in a marriage.
I hope that by making this journal available to you and your readers that they too will find that daily words of appreciation and gratitude will help strengthen the foundation of their marriage and help it soar with the power of positive and loving words.
