I recently had the pleasure of meeting Casey from the fabulous blog, Marriage365.org.

Marriage365.org is a wonderful site filled with tons of awesome information on how to help marriages succeed.

Casey was kind enough to send me a copy of their new E-Book,
Naked Dinners
Great title right?  Makes you want to take a peak inside.

I took time to read it this past weekend and am glad that I did.

This book is full of great insight into marriage and sex.

No matter where you are in your relationship, we can all relate to the ups and downs that we can experience with the sexual connection in our marriages.  And, let’s face it, a healthy sex life is one of the most important factors in having and maintaining a happy marriage.

Here a few things that I really liked about this book.

– It helps couples begin the conversation about sex.     I appreciate that, because I feel that we often tip toe around the topic.  Afraid to say certain things.  Afraid to be truthful.  Funny how that is, when it is such a vital component of marriage.

How can we be expected to have a happy sex life, if we are too afraid to talk about what makes us feel good or what doesn’t.  I think this book takes a big step toward helping couples open up about the topic.    It gives guidance on how to have the conversation and even starter questions to help get the conversation going.

– This book was written together by Casey and Meygan, a married couple and founders of Marriage365.org.   Naked Dinners shares both the male and female perspective.  Because of that, I feel that it is a very well rounded book.  It is important, as a wife to have insight and understanding into how my husband thinks and feels.    And it is equally as important for husbands to have insights into women and how they think and feel.  This book has a good balance of both perspectives.

– It is relatable.  As I continue down this journey of writing about marriage and hearing from other married couples, I have come to realize that we all experience similar things.  Most of us share a commonality in the challenges of marriage.  This book speaks to all of us in a practical and relatable manner.   It doesn’t talk down to couples.  It talks to you in a way that feels like a good friend sharing lessons that she has learned.  Nothing is over the head.  All of the tips and suggestions are ones that you can put into play today.

– This book is not afraid to touch on the subjects that the rest of us tend to shy away from, like pornography and affairs, and takes a look into each to see how it might affect your marriage. It gives some good insight into ways to help “affair proof” your marriage.  And, if you are a couple trying to recover from infidelity, this book gives guidance on how to rebuild and find forgiveness.

I tell all of this to you, not because I am getting compensated to.  I will not be compensated in any way for this post, I can assure you.

I tell you all of this because I feel like we are all in this together.  We all have the ability to help each other out.  To learn from each other.

Naked Dinners is a fantastic choice if you are looking for ways to gain or maintain a satisfying and successful sex life. This book provides great ways to invest in your marriage.

With resources like this, you can take steps today toward finding and/or maintaining marital happiness.
